Vorverstärkerausgang

Hallo,
Hat einer von euch ne Ahnung ob es beim AV einen Vorverstärker ausgang gibt? Mein Händler hat gemeint es würde einen geben, hat ihn aber micht gefunden.

Blue-Vensi is right. This can be done by connecting a LOC (line Output Converter) or adaptor to the speaker output wires.

The sound quality will not be affected since you're only amplifying a very low signal output (low distortion) via the LOC to the amplifier. This should be set correctly of course through the LOC's GAIN together with the GAIN on the amp. If not set correctly you WILL get distortion!

And anybody who tells you that a (good) LOC sounds worse then a High-end DIN radio, should read this:

tnx for the links and I will give a summary in german for those, who are not so fit in reading english, if you allow.


Also beim Avensis-Radio gibt es keine Vorverstärkerausgänge. Man muß also einen Konverter an den Lautsprecherausgängen anschließen, wie Blue-Vensi das auch gelöst hat. Solche Adapter/Konverter sind im Fachhandel unter dem Begriff High/Low-Level-Converter zu finden.
Klangliche Einbußen sind dadurch nicht zu beführchten. Auch ist der Klang von Serienradios keines Falls so schlecht, wie deren Ruf.
Dies stellt der amerikanische Car-HiFi-Händler in dem letzten Link nochmal dar.
Wichtig dabei ist nur, dass keine Stufe übersteuert wird.

If anybody decides to use a line output converter I would use the following parts to connect behind the Panasonic radio:

The first cable goes on the original Toyota harness.
The second cable goes in the back of the Panasonic W53900
You have to connect all the standard cables together (just a pass through) except the speaker wires: here's where you attach the LOC (coming out of the radio). But don't place the LOC behind the radio! Use speaker wire and pass it through near to the amplifier to the LOC. From here use short pieces of RCA cable to the amp(s). That's all! The benefit of this is that speaker wire is much less sensitive to electrical influence (higher voltage) than RCA cable and you can adjust the LOC close to the amp.
And using these 2 connectors there is no need to cut into the Toyota harness!

Hab den High/Low wandler inzwischen auch drin hab ihn von der Firma Dietz, da er einstellbar ist und bis zu 16 Watt rms/kanal verträgt!!!
